MoSi MovementResearch & advice

Something is stuck.
Let’s find out why.

Plans have been made, conversations held and solutions tried. And still, it isn’t working. That is where MoSi begins.

01 / Our approach

What we do
and how we work.

When work gets stuck, it is tempting to start fixing things straight away. A new process. Another training programme. A different manager. Sometimes that helps. Sometimes it adds another layer without addressing what people are dealing with every day.

We start with people: how they do their work, work together and respond to what is expected of them. We connect their experiences with data and processes to understand what is happening and what could help. Sometimes the work needs to be organised differently. Sometimes the expectations need to change. Our research and advice help you decide where to begin.

From a question to practical advice.

Starting with people’s daily experiences, we examine how work is organised and use available data to test possible explanations. We shape the investigation around the question, whether it calls for a focused quick scan or a deeper look. Together, we agree on the scope, timing and cost, so the work stays focused on what is needed.

01 /

Ask

Explore what people are experiencing in their work, what is expected of them and which questions we want to answer.

02 /

Listen & look

Speak with people across the organisation about their daily work and how they work together. Look at the processes and information connected to their experiences, including perspectives that are easy to overlook.

03 /

Connect & test

Connect people’s experiences with data and the way work is organised. Look for patterns, test possible explanations and be clear about what we know and what remains uncertain.

04 /

Advise

Share the findings and practical options for improving how people can do their work and work together, including the questions still open.

Mollie van Beers

Mollie van Beers

Over almost 30 years, I’ve worked in government, infrastructure, telecoms, security, coffee, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and high-tech manufacturing. I’ve led operational and international teams, coached managers and employees, and guided organisational change. What has always interested me most is how people do their work, how they keep an organisation running together, and what gets in their way.

Across those different settings, I’ve seen promising models, popular management ideas and well-meant initiatives stall or achieve very little. Often, they didn’t connect with the daily realities of the people doing the work. The solution had already been chosen while it was still unclear what was actually happening.

That is why MoSi Movement was born. I want to understand what is happening first: by listening, investigating and questioning assumptions. My experience helps me connect with people at every level, from the boardroom to the shop floor. With MoSi, I combine that experience and curiosity with research to discover what can help people and organisations move forward in practice.

My career spans banking, construction, manufacturing and retail, with roles in finance, audit, risk management and leadership. I’ve led teams, investigated shortcomings and helped organisations put plans into practice. My work has included setting up departments, improving operations and coordinating investigations into what went wrong. That experience has taught me to ask questions, examine the evidence and look closely at how decisions are made.

I enjoy getting the foundations in order: from a coherent framework with clear responsibilities to practical processes and reliable data. I look at how people, processes and responsibilities work together, where things become strained and what could help. For me, a good plan also needs to be useful to the people working with it every day.

With MoSi, I bring that experience to investigating what is happening and turning the findings into practical advice. For me, that means questioning assumptions, being clear about what we know and helping organisations make informed choices.
